So, like, the General Election results took forever to come out, right? But guess what? The MPs-elect were already out and about on Sunday morning, thanking residents for their support. How cool is that?

Desmond Lee, the National Development Minister, was leading his team of five peeps around Jurong West after they won the new West Coast-Jurong West Group Representation Constituency (GRC). They totally crushed it with 60.01 per cent of the votes against the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) team led by Tan Cheng Bock.

The team consisted of Shawn Huang, Ang Wei Neng, Cassandra Lee, and Hamid Razak. They were all out there, shaking hands, taking selfies, and just soaking in the love from the residents.

Like, seriously, Mr. Lee was wiping sweat off his face, listening to residents, and helping them take selfies. The dude was a total champ. And get this, one resident even said Dr. Hamid was super smart for speaking Mandarin. The team was just having a blast, you know?

Before hitting up their second stop at Boon Lay Food Village, Mr. Lee was all humble, saying how grateful he was for the residents’ support. He mentioned how they’ve been working hard for the peeps, answering questions, and all that jazz.

And you know what? They’re not just chilling after the win. They’re already planning to help peeps with stuff like job security and the cost of living. They’re even working with e2i to hook fresh grads up with jobs. Like, that’s some serious dedication right there.

The team is also looking to upgrade estates and stuff based on what the residents want. It’s all about making sure the amenities are legit and meaningful to them.

And when asked about celebrating the win, Mr. Lee was like, “Nah, it’s more about understanding the responsibility and trust the residents have placed in us.” Talk about staying grounded, right?

Over in the East Coast GRC, the PAP team was having a blast on their victory parade. The PAP totally killed it with 58.76 per cent of the votes, improving on their 2020 performance.

The team was all smiles, waving flags, and getting love from the residents. They stopped at various spots, meeting and greeting peeps, and just spreading good vibes.

Mr. Tong was talking about integrating new areas and focusing on infrastructure and social programs. He’s all about supporting seniors and empowering the youth. That’s what I call looking out for everyone, you know?

The Nee Soon GRC team was also on fire, securing a whopping 73.81 per cent of the votes. Dr. Syed Harun was all about getting down to business, gathering feedback, and meeting residents.

They’re all about delivering top-notch service and making sure the residents are happy. And you know what? They’re already planning their first Meet-The-People Session. These guys mean business.

So, like, the MPs-elect are already out there, getting stuff done and showing love to the residents. It’s all about connecting, listening, and making sure everyone’s voices are heard. And that, my friends, is what it’s all about.
